Human Trafficking affects all socio-economic and geographical areas, and Tahoe is not immune.  As a main corridor from California to Nevada, PATH has long suspected that there was more trafficking happening in the South Lake Tahoe area than most people realized.  While it’s not great that it IS happening here, this also confirms that it is something that seriously needs to be addressed in our small town.  Fortunately, the Douglas County Sherriff’s Office coordinated this human trafficking operation and were able to arrest three men.  Read the full article here. 5/28/2021
